I saw a discussion in a different group where someone said “oh this is a classic fae romance, like cruel prince and acotar” but to me, those books are pretty different in terms of tropes, worldbuilding, etc So, what does a “fae romance” mean to you What tropes would you say you expect to find in one Given the enormous amounts of stories about fae, it really depends on what type you're looking at People need to understand what fae actually are I am an irishman, born and raised in ireland
And people on this subreddit either don't understand what they are, or there's just a type of american fae like being that i don't know about. The only thing is, the main plots of the books surround mercy’s relationships with a werewolf pack, vampires, and her native american heritage. I liked it better than crescent city tbh. I've heard people say that high fae reach maturity around 75 years of age, but didn't alis say that in regards to her nephews, who are not high fae Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong on this Also, how does aging work afterward I've always assumed that once a fae, high or otherwise, reaches maturity, they just flat line?
