Just realized you don't need the oculus app installed to use virtual desktop had to do a fresh windows install and wanted to try virtual desktop without installing the oculus pc app, just launch the streamer and the app on the quest and it works no problem (even better than before for me) really happy it works !!

I adore the quest 2, i use it constantly, and i think the hardware is excellent But the software is so incredibly bad for one of the biggest companies on earth. How do i stop oculus pc software launching on startup I don't mean stop it from running in the background, just not popping up in my face when i turn on my pc, is there any way to do that? The uninstall process deletes all the oculus stuff in program files, but i'm wondering if there's some other oculus folder i don't know about How can i guarantee i'm getting a completely fresh install

With the oculus software active, i can play for a longer duration without issues Interestingly, setting the oculus vr runtime service startup type to manual in windows services causes roblox to crash even quicker. What finally fixed my oculus rift s black screen issue like many others that have encountered this problem, i attempted the list of common solutions that resolved their issues, but none of them worked for me and my headset remained unusable. While installing the software, it went from 10 mb/s to 2 kb/s and just drastically changed throughout the whole installation, now its been stuck at around 1 kb/s for the past 30 minutes and im really confused I have 200/200 internet upload/download.

Solved i have a oculus quest 2 and was trying to play games through the link cable, but when i set up the app, it says my pc doesn't meet the minimum spec requirements, even though it does, i have a r7 3800x, and a 3060ti and 16 gb of ram

I've tried everything i could find on the support page and older strands, does anyone have any fixes.
