Donna adelson was officially sentenced to life in prison monday afternoon in the murder for hire of her former son in law, fsu law professor dan markel. She was sentenced monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder plus another 30 years for conspiracy and solicitation Her son, charlie adelson, was found. Court records show adelson’s attorneys, joshua zelman and jackie fulford, filed the notice to appeal her conviction and sentence.
