Our students engage in authentic work that matters to them and to the world beyond the classroom. Developed by a coalition of san diego civic leaders and educators, high tech high opened in september 2000 as a small public charter school with plans to serve approximately 450 students. Our integrated network of 16 charter schools serves around 6,350 students across 4 campuses.
