In my current 98 zj, i get about 14 in the city and 18 highway or so I got 17 city and just over 20 highway in my 97 xj With less money invested, my xj was a much more capable rig off the road than was my zj More ground clearance with similar amounts of lift, better approach/departure angles as well. It was the largest size tire i could fit in the stock spare tire location without modifying the interior This is just over a 30 inch diameter tire The 2000 xj had a clone upcountry suspension That gives an inch of lift The 2001 xj has about a 3 inch lift. I'm curious to see what people have done to customize their xj's interior
