An album with cd baby is the same as about two years of distrokid If you have a high tempo release schedule, cd baby adds up quick The problem concerns my earnings on spotify Since i started releasing my songs, spotify is not reporting earnings information to distrokid It's been more than 4 months since i've published songs that have reached several thousand views and still no royalty information has been sent to distrokid For a low annual fee, you can upload and distribute unlimited songs to major streaming platforms without any additional charges.
Does anyone know if it's possible to contact distrokid directly Possibly an email address or phone number I have very specific questions that i don't see addressed in their support center To make matters worse, neither spotify or distrokid are taking any accountability and sending us the other way for help What can we do in this situation It seems like small artists like us are paying the price for these bot streams
Distrokid has a very involved founder and because their not owned by major corp like cd baby, they keep their hands off your project Have a question about distrokid This is the place for you. Doing this seems to submit a ticket to their helpdesk I dont know if you guys find it helpful but my biggest problem with distrokid is not having a readily accessible helpdesk so this helps for me Going through these steps seems like the only thing that actually submits a ticket to them or get in contact with distrokid (at least that ive seen)
Questions about releases so i was planning on releasing a song tonight at midnight I just bought the $20 musician pack on distrokid When i go to upload music, the release date says today But when i did some digging, it said that it takes 2 to 3 days to actually post Could somebody explain this better for me?
