This study aimed to review students’ motivation for classroom music by analyzing research from different studies in music education This paper strives to explore the correlation between listening to music and adolescents’ concentration levels A literature review was conducted using google scholar and a study was conducted on 25 high school students from the same school in georgia. The implication of this study lies in its revelation of how instrument training and parental education significantly shape students’ musical opinions, underscoring the need for targeted interventions to enhance music education experiences and enrich young individuals’ musical tastes. Majority of respondents listen to music while studying 64% (32 respondents) of participants reported that they listen to music while studying, indicating that music is a common practice among students during study sessions.
