I had ridden my brother in laws honda foreman without power steering quite a bit before i got my grizzly and it absolutely makes a difference It doesn't eliminate feedback into the handlebars but it does reduce it a lot I won't own another atv without it The power steering also makes it way easier. I know one of the major landowners in northern idaho, potlatch, allows atv's behind many of their locked gates Try googling potlatch idaho atv and i bet you'll find lots of info. Rimrock area jeep/atv/utv trails?i think the trails are closed till june 15th for protection of habitat Just about any road that goes towards divide ridge will have a trail at or near the end of it
As huntand jeep said the trails are almost all difficult to extermely difficult Lots of super steep off camber stuff Wear your safety gear, people die on those trails (not an exageration) Considering an atv just for working around the property Looking at a honda rancher 420 and yamaha kodiak 450 Would just be used for pulling a small trailer, seed spreader, etc
Mine starts easy in 0deg or 100deg 4x4 works great, easy maintenance, shaft drive You can get one thats pretty plain, or loaded with options Mine is pretty plain, foot shift, and 4x4 being its only. Atv trails work for me or jeep Some roads are ok and others are not depending on what area
I have been wheeling or riding most of my life but these rules are very confusing as i'm not familiar with that area in general So roads are ok by clear lake rimrock but not bumping Are utvs with street legalality recognized?
