I am looking for opinions or reviews on levenger's circa notebooks, particularly from those who have had some experience with the system.

These were sold in the levenger catalogue Levenger also has a couple of their current production inks (including gemstone green) on sale on their website for about $22 us I bought two of those boxes some years ago just to get the fireball and the inks look new Dave campbellretired science teacher and active pen addict every day is a chance to reduce my level of ignorance Levenger and their true writer series presents a bit of a puzzle in their value proposition On the one hand, i have a kyoto true writer, gotten for a cheap price on a deal, which is a wonderful pen

Lovely writer, well balanced, and very pretty So i thought about adding a stub nib to it, as a f. He was lamenting the loss of his rotring 600 during a conversation about fountain pens Since the rotring is discontinued, i looked around for a similar pen The last time i experimented with levenger paper products was several years ago I was just wondering whether they've improved.

The levenger circa desk punch is, as the expression goes, built like a tank

Will the levenger last a long time, or is it just an expensive piece of junk With the levenger circa leverage punch, i estimate i can fit about 10 pages to punch at once (i will use 32 lb bond / 120 gsm) With the staples arc punch, i can only fit about 7 pages to punch at once, and most of the pages have come out slanted. Levenger raven black is a nice black ink to use with some really nice lubercation properties The big drawback is that it tends to feather when using less than optimal paper and a broad juicy nib.
