I got the p0456 code on my 2018 wk2 last week and looked at the hoses (so i thought) before replacing the evaporative system integrated module (part 04861959ac). I have a 2016 cherokee sport v6 check engine light came on so i took it to get coded p0456 evap small leak is what came through First thing i did was check my gas cap So here’s everything i’ve done so far 1.) i replaced the purge valve first because it’s the. So i have had a 2016 ram with the 3.6 v6 for a few months Cel came on a few weeks ago and i checked with alfaobd and it showed p0456, i checked my gas cap and cleared code, was trying to see if it came back
What is the best way to troubleshoot this So just recently over the past few weeks i have had three codes come up I’m not too worried about them because the truck still runs and drives fine and based off what i have read it won’t do any long term damage
