Both guards are located conveniently close to the stag station in the forgotten crossroads. You've learnt a very important skill in hollow knight Now you know not to get too close to bosses and take your time You don't need to win as fast as speedrunners Just take your time and enjoy the game That's kinda 99% of the hollow knight experience!

There are different triggers for different enemies Some weaker enemies (vengflies, crawlids, etc) respawn when you leave the room and come back Stronger enemies (husk guards, aspids, etc) respawn when you sit at a bench Then there are bosses that don't respawn at all.
