We have a cool mist humidifier, but even with weekly cleaning with vinegar soak for 30+ minutes, it gets the pink slime. Recent carepod humidifier experience has anyone had any experience with the carepod humidifiers recently I have been on the search for an easy to clean humidifier for my babies room for many years now I have had experience with dozens of different brands and types of humidifiers, and they are always such a pain to clean! The perfect humidifier encourages use of tap water (probably an evaporative) runs all night is dishwasher friendly doesn’t heat up… so baby can’t get scalded is small enough to sit on a night stand i had decided canopy was it until i read reviews talking about mold accumulation in an unwashable spot when taking the thing apart. I’m looking to buy a nice quality humidifier (i don’t mind splurging on this!) and was wondering if anyone has tried the canopy humidifier or if you have another humidifier recommendation
I just moved from florida to a cold climate and my skin is pretty dry All i see about canopy are sponsored posts and that makes me weary… thanks! Look for reputable brands that offer good warranties and use durable materials. I’ve noticed on the humidifiers i have in both of my daughter’s room there are multiple nooks and crannies (plus the tube that the mist rises up through) that truly cannot be cleaned But it’s just not reachable Anyone have recommendations for a humidifier that is easy to clean
I got a canopy humidifier in 2020 when i started spending more time at home during covid I already had a hepa air filter for my bedroom Like many on this subreddit i thought it would keep my skin and balance out the drying ac and heat usage. I just bought a carepod mini humidifier on recs from several friends and need a reality check on some of these care and maintenance instructions Use distilled or filtered water instead of tap water (really?) I've tried ultrasonic ones, and they are hard to clean
And i've also heard they're not good for your health (i have a very good water filter though, so maybe i can use filtered water) I was looking into smartmi, but its got some pretty bad reviews on amazon. The metric for humidifier purchase is first based on the appropriate sizing, so i'd err towards that first You could find the best metal/glass humidifier and find out it won't do poop to your honking room size.
