The current stage of the m4eg facility will focus on intermediate cities in the eastern partnership countries (armenia, azerbaijan, belarus, georgia, moldova and ukraine), assisting them to emerge from the pandemic crisis and discover new opportunities for sustainable growth and economic prosperity. As zviad archuadze, the secretarial coordinator of the mayors for economic growth initiative tells us, about 45 municipalities are enrolled in the initiative throughout the country, and the way they use eu support depends on their activity: Representatives of 56 municipalities attended in person, while member municipalities from armenia, azerbaijan, the republic of moldova and ukraine joined the event online.
