Augustus gus lamont (born c 2021) is an australian missing person, who at the age of 4 disappeared from his family's remote south australian homestead, approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of yunta, on the evening of saturday, 27 september 2025 Searchers will likely return to the isolated property where gus lamont went missing for a fourth time, south australian police commissioner grant stevens has said. The adf will again be on hand to assist as authorities head back to the outback region near yunta on tuesday, armed with a reinvigorated idea that they may locate the child. Though the search for gus lamont has ended, police say they will continue investigating his disappearance.
