Shout out to fab365 where there are few models but each one is excellent for fdm As someone who works with 3d models a lot, it’s not that the paid are better for animation, it’s that they normally have more details and possibly come with textures, rigging, animations made for them, etc. Some of that depends on what you are trying to print For paid models the thing i see the most i think is for tabletop gaming Or are you trying to print toys, neat models, tabletop figurines Weird sexualized stuff seems to be a thing too, i think the demographic for 3d printing veers in a certain direction
