So just recently i was gifted a walmart plus subscription to help me with groceries since i have so little time these days However i have been hesitant to use it yet because i am unsure of how the order procurement and tipping should work with it. I just did my first walmart+ order and walmart put in a default 15% tip I thought the whole point of signing up for this was to get free delivery Is it frowned upon to tip 0 Aren’t these drivers walmart employees

My local gas station that’s about 10 miles away from any walmart is part of the savings. Walmart delivery is almost entirely done by a 3rd party driver that works for spark which is a doordash/uber type service and they are paid a base pay per delivery+ tips If you aren't allowed to leave a tip then the store you are ordering from actually utilizes in store delivery drivers that use a walmart vehicle and are paid an hourly wage. Does the 20% off have a limit on number of transactions
Would i be able to place that order and then do the rest of my shopping in store separately? The only way to get walmart to code as grocery with amex is to shop in person, only at a walmart grocery (the green ones, neighborhood market or whatever) Anything done online, even if you set the pickup location to a walmart grocery rather than super walmart, will code as ‘general merchandise’ and won’t get 4x. Walmart supercenters and neighborhood markets are considered u.s I love the pickup at walmart, but as of recently several items are being marked buy in store and i cannot add them to my cart for pickup These are items like soda pop and face wash
