After having let it sit in some cases since early june until now outside fully wrapped, it seems the hay touching the wrap produces moisture I use white wrap but the sun really heats up the bale in midsummer. 😂 i’ve been reading through some of the threads on the site and i think this will be the place i’ll find answers to some of my questions It is the bane of my existence!! Dryness will make zero difference I think grass hay that gets too dry doesn't go through a sweat so therefore has a different odor so therefore isn't as palatable so hay won't be as readily consumed by animals as hay baled at correct moisture content.
