I see it as a need in the same way that social connection or physical contact is a need for some people Not a need in the sense you’ll die without it but a need in the sense of “life would be a bit better if i had it/access to it” Some people really wouldn’t find life truly fulfilling without sex. Sex is psychologically classified as a human need, but the real issue is creating conditions where both people want it rather than pressuring reluctant partners or using “need” language to justify demands, focus on building marriages where sexual intimacy naturally flourishes for both people.
