Just bought a 1983 scrambler and doing some restoration to it

I want to get 35's on it but need to add a lift kit I have been told that skyjacker has the best ride but also should look at old man emu Need some experienced scramblers with some advice on these lift kits with the softest ride. I intended to take a bunch of pictures and make sure i document my experience installing the sniper on my scrambler I probably did not get enough pictures or take enough botes, but here goes To start off, i replaced a holley 4bbl carb mounted on an offenhauser intake

Is it more carb than. Found this while working on my wiring this morning I downloaded it, and printed it through paint Takes about 12 sheets of paper, trim, match edges, tape and you're set It's for an earlier year i think (79?), but it sure is cool. Cj’s were designed to have great maneuverability

Don’t compromise your rigs steering radius by converting to an axle that has to have its steering stops adjusted

There is a better way Had alcan 4 on a cj 5 loved them rode way better than the scrambler As for sway bars i had disconnects on both The scrambler i unhooked and rehooked a couple of times unhooked and removed the sway bar The cj 5 unhooked and rehooked a couple of times, hooked them up and never unhooked again as long as i owned it. Dedicated to complete builds, rebuilds and restoration threads from start to end.

Ok, last week had a rough night and ended up blowing the fusible link that comes off the solenoid Went back the next morning and fixed that, and when jeep fired up i noticed my fuel lines were cracked coming off the filter (stock 1 inlet, 2 outlet) My lower steering shaft column bearing went out and i need to replace it Has anyone done this repair yet and how hard is it What do i need to look forward.
