Shares of south korean entertainment firm the pinkfong company, producer of the popular children's song baby shark, surged more than 60% in early trades following their market debut on tuesday. The baby shark song has been popularised by a video uploaded to youtube by south korean children's educational company pinkfong in 2016 The korean company behind the ubiquitous song “baby shark” is hampered by ad restrictions on children’s content but wants to raise funds for expansion via an ipo.
