The national alliance on mental illness (nami) is a nationwide, grassroots mental health organization We help families and individuals affected by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy. Over the past several decades, nami has helped change the conversation around mental health, but there’s more to do to ensure everyone can access the mental health care and support they need
Participants find support, share coping strategies, and learn practical information. Nami shapes national public policy for people with mental illness and their families and provides volunteer leaders with the tools, resources and skills necessary to save mental health in all states.
