I'd like to have it back in the recent files section to make it easily accessible, but opening and closing it does not return it there. I had office 2016 on my laptop (came already on the laptop), and it stopped working due to 365 popping up While trying to uninstall office 365, i instead uninstalled all of office from my laptop Could just mean you accidently deleted the items Be sure to check all these locations Inbox folders deleted items recovery items mobile devices desktop devices your own backups if however, you can't find your emails in any of those locations then they are gone and can't be recovered as microsoft doesn't do or maintain backups.
