The water pump is new (type gwp130) have no idea were was made And it clearly leaks from a weep hole at the bottom I didn't know i have to spin it dry before using What can i do now to make it seal, drain coolant and run engine for a minute or so For those who believe, no proof is needed. I removed new wp and installed old one again as i was curious where it was leaking from
Water pump was leaking, making a huge mess on the floor Bought subaru oem upper and lower radiator hoses and fasteners, new thermostat, and new water pump (21110aa690) with the gasket Installed everything yesterday, and filled everything with subaru super coolant The care drove leak free for about 50 miles and i was really happy with it. Water pump weep hole leaks appear at a specific spot on the pump body and worsen with engine speed Other coolant leaks come from hoses, gaskets, or the radiator and might leak even when the engine is off.
