The wilderness sites are 1 dollar You will run into very few or no people once your past aprox 3 miles on the batona, and both backcountry campsites are secluded. Lower forge wilderness camp on the batsto river It was a balmy day, but the night grew very still, and cold We had spent part of the day canoeing down the batsto, the remainder of daylight was used preparing our camp, gathering firewood, and getting a nice fire going for dinner and warmth. Batsto to the mullica river wilderness site is like 7 miles

I've been scowering the web looking for some kind of map to the forked river mountains, the only way i know how to get there has me going like over 10 miles there and back on foot So i was just wondering if anyone knew a shorter route as i wanted to get some friends to go this time around and i. They seem so tiny when you look at the vast wilderness spaces in the northwest and the whole eastern us has a density of roads and other features that just aren't found elsewhere.
