We have tried everything, short of spanking him.i just can't bring myself to do that and i won't Well.a couple of weeks ago, we met with our church small group to end up telling them about our frustration Another couple there had the exact same situation with their son Halleluia, someone know what we are talking about!!! We spank in our home, too, but i have found that for most of the offenses it works best to use a natural consequence to train them In all cases, if the offense warrants a spanking we always follow through with a natural consequence. Spanking's do not work long term with this child With the holiday coming up tomorrow, my husband thinks she should be grounded for 3 days which means grounding her to her room, only leaving to potty and bathe.
