The pennsylvania network for student assistance services (pnsas) leads the statewide student assistance program (sap) by offering valuable resources, promoting best practices, and fostering collaboration. Pnsas does not have any specific requirements for school entities to evaluate sap However, there are a range of resources on the pnsas website to aid sap teams in assessing their fidelity to best practice guidelines, team functioning, and the school community’s perceptions of sap. The pa network for student assistance services (pnsas) developed this list of student assistance program (sap) liaison contacts in each county to assist cyber schools in connecting pa students with mental health and/or substance use concerns to local county resources. Click on any calendar entry to view detailed information about that training (e.g., location, registration details, cost, etc.). Ddap’s prevention workgroup, in collaboration with additional representatives from pnsas and sap liaison agencies, has developed a sap liaison handbook
This handbook was modeled after the prevention staff handbook that was created two years ago. Sap teams need to tailor the action plan to the strengths and needs of each referred student
