So, for instance, if your hull number is 3068 then your sail number would be 68. Wj sails has rc sail numbers for all your remote control sailing needs. Peel the backing partially off the first number and line it up on the baseline, then stick it to the sail, make sure the number is applied flat without any bubbles or wrinkles, use your hands to press out any deformations or peel the number back if there are any large bubbles or wrinkles. The edges aren't that great, but they'll look fine on the sail The trick is to leave the numbers on the backing, and instead pull off all the excess material around them. Our friends at sailrite offer precision cut sail numbers in two different fonts (including a digital font for dinghies) and four sizes, enough to fit the majority of recreational sailboats
All you need to do is peel and stick. Numbers on the mainsail must be in the upper 75% of the sail, while the placement of numbers on the jib is not restricted National letters are to be below the mainsail numbers. If you selected “yes” feel free to send us your sails numbers & country code (for example usa 99) and we will apply them to your suit If you selected “no” there will be no charges (no fee) and we will not write any sail numbers or country code. Sail numbers are generally assigned in consecutive order
That seems a bit sketchy to me, so i'm wondering what you guys do. The last four numbers on both sides of the sail shall be the same dark colour, preferably black The numbers in front of the last four shall all be another, obviously different colour, preferably red National letters are only required at international events, and shall all be the same colour.
