1533 (e) dated the 14th september, 2006 In suppuration of the eia notification 1994, another eia notification was introduced by the ministry of environment and forest (moef) on 14th september, 2006 The objective of eia notification 2006 was to address the limitations of eia notification (1994). Eia notification 2006 (as amended upto march 2021) this document provides the notification for the environment impact assessment (eia) in india from the ministry of environment, forest and climate change. Projects not seeking clearance under eia notification, 2006 by 30th june 2007 will be treated as violation cases under section 15 of environment (protection) act, 1986.
