My hiking/backpacking pants breathe well, but i've torn them My firehose pants are tough, but they feel like a sauna right now in the high 90s Cost can still be on the higher end, but we were able to find a queen sized mill end blanket for $40, very good buy Do have an old us wool blanket, (might have been made by faribault) Also have wool blankets from woolrich, llbean, roros (norway) Nice to have different weight blankets too

I am sure they will both take a great edge I have put a wicked edge on a buck 120 for a friend The steel on a buck is a bit softer stainless steel That means it can take more abuse, but loses its edge quicker than a harder stainless
It's a 20 degree bag Right now i'm using an old llbean synthetic bag that's rated for 0 degrees It doesn't work that low anymore and ti weighs over 4 pounds so it's too heavy Part of that is it's a rectangular bag I'm looking for something lighter and semi mummy I think a good place to look for sleeping bag info would be on whiteblaze.
We're in our rainy season here so, i won't be doing any overnighters for a good while Spring can't come soon enough I have an llbean weekender (about 37 liters) that i could use the same way for hunting or as a larger day/overnight pack It's great for packing in and camping but i wouldn't wear it while actually hunting Www.llbean.com view attachment 1353577 i haven't tried these but they might be a good option Click to expand.my wife and i use these skis and they are great
Any companies still making thick wool pants for cold winter weather I now a few guys that have some pairs that they have found at thrift stores, but i have had no such luck Any ideas on how to get my hands on a pair? In your opinion, what is the best overall bushcraft pack and why?
